Get a Teacher Card
Teachers, student teachers, and homeschoolers can apply for a special Library card that allows books and other selected library materials to be checked out for six weeks.
This extended loan period gives your students more time with library materials, and lets you build a temporary classroom library of resource materials for school projects, special teaching units, and other educational support.
To apply for this special Library card, bring a picture ID with your name and current address to the library, and ask for a Teacher Card.
Of course, you may still carry a separate Library card for all of your personal borrowing not related to your classroom. Regular Library card applications may be filled out in person at the library, or online via this Web site.
