Joseph E. Balmer, III, Attorney at Law
Joe was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1989 and was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio in 1991. Joe is one of 17 attorneys in the Dayton area to be certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. Joe attended Emory University (B.A., 1985) and was the Recipient of the Emory University National Merit Scholarship. He then attended Ohio State University (J.D., 1989; M.B.A., 1989). Joe is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law since January 1, 2006. He is also a member of the Dayton Bar Association Estate Planning & Probate Committee and the Ohio State Bar Association Dayton Trust & Estate Planning Group. His areas of practice are: Business Law; Corporations; Contracts; Estate Administration; Elder Law; Guardianships; Health Care Directives; Living Trusts; Powers of Attorney; Probate; Wills and Trusts. Buscemi, Bettina
Bettina Buscemi
Bettina Buscemi, is the Business Development Manager for Day Air Credit Union. She is a financial educator, public relations representative and community organizer with nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Bettina serves on the Board of Directors for Miami Valley Youth Career Services, Montgomery County Jobs and Family Services Collaboration Against Abuse Neglect and Exploitation (C.A.N.N.E.) member and member of four Chambers of Commerce.

Busher, Theresa
Theresa Busher
Since February 1999, Theresa has served as the public affairs specialist for the Social Security offices of greater Dayton and Springfield. She has worked for the Social Security Administration since 1993, and has experience with all Social Security benefit programs, including retirement, disability and SSI. With her current public affairs position, Theresa acts as a Social Security spokesperson, media liaison, and public educator. She currently resides in Washington Township with her husband Ed and their 5 children, ages 12 to 1.

Carraher, Vickie
Vickie Carraher is the City of Kettering's Senior Services Coordinator. She can help with such topics as housing, transportation, personal care, in-home services, insurance (Medicare/Medicaid), prescription drug assistance programs, respite care, adult day centers, home delivered meals, adult protective services, utility assistance programs, support groups, aging issues, volunteer programs, or any other topic of concern.

Gandy, Wanda
Wanda Gandy is a Business Development Specialist for Indiana Wesleyan University. She is a wife, mother, grandmother and student. Her dream was to earn a degree even though she had made several attempts to complete a traditional program. She was able to accomplish her goal by finding a format that would allow her to earn that degree and work full time.

Krumal, Terrie
Terrie Krumal is the Education and Marketing Coordinator for Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS), a program of Graceworks Lutheran Services. She holds certification for Consumer Credit Educator and certification for Consumer Credit Counselor and Housing Counselor through the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) and Neighborworks. Terrie has spoken to many groups in Dayton and surrounding areas on financial, credit and housing issues relevant to current economic conditions. While serving in a partnership with Wright-Patt Credit Union, she helped design, implement and lead financial literacy workshops for all employees.

Leech, Veronica
Veronica Leech is a Financial Aid Specialist at Clark State Community College in Springfield, Ohio. She is a graduate of Wright State University and has worked in the Financial Aid area for 25+ years. Veronica has served in the capacity of Counselor, Advisor, and Director at several area colleges and universities. She is a very active member in state and national financial aid professional organizations and is a featured contributor in Sallie Maeís Paying for College.

Michelich, Kathy
Kathy Michelich has served as a Family and Consumer Sciences educator and county director for the Ohio State University Extension office in Warren County since 1990. Kathy earned both her Bachelor of Science degree and Masterís degree from Ohio State University. Kathy teaches various life skills such as money and resource management to a wide variety of audiences throughout Warren County and the surrounding Miami Valley area. She has presented at regional, state and national conferences. Kathy serves on several boards and coalitions in the community including the Warren County Community Services Board of Directors, the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Warren and Clinton Counties, the Developmental Disabilities Human Rights Committee, the Support and Outreach Committee of the Family and Children First Council, the Facility Governing Board for Community Correctional Center for Butler, Clermont, and Warren Counties.

Olinsky, Christine
Christine Olinsky
Christine Olinsky has worked for Ohio State University Extension office since 1980, having served in several positions including Acting District Specialist and County Director. Chris has her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Bowling Green State University and her Masterís in Education from Miami University. Chris is on the faculty at The Ohio State University. She provides community-based education to a wide variety of audiences throughout the county and has presented at regional, state and national conferences. Chris has served on several Boards in the community including Children Services and Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley; she is immediate Past-Chair of Montgomery County Family and Children First Council. Chris is married and has an adult daughter who lives in Dayton.

Peirson, Jonathan
Jonathan Peirson
Jonathan Peirson is the Financial Advisor with Day Air Credit Union. Jonathan helps people evaluate their needs and objectives to create a personal financial action plan. Jonathan has extensive knowledge in Financial Planning services. He earned his Bachelorís degree in Financial Services from Wright State University and has worked with a national Fortune 500 Company in the financial services industry. Jonathan can suggest financial services which will assist you in reaching your long and short-term financial goals. Jonathan is registered as a Financial Advisor and holds a Series 7 and Series 66, as well as an Ohio Life, Health, and Variable Annuity insurance license. Jonathan is licensed to conduct securities business in California, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.

Rife, Scot
Scot Rife has 20 years of financial services and 10 years of home loan origination experience. After graduating Wright State University with a degree in Economics, he was a housing counselor at a Dayton area non-profit organization where he helped families prepare for homeownership. Scot also served at a regional bank as a department manager and as an assistant portfolio manager where he would price and underwrite the loans that went into the bank portfolio. This was a great background to prepare him to originate home loans for Day Air Credit Union. Scot seeks to make buying a home a positive experience for his clients.

Schweitzer, Jr., Don
Don Schweitzer, Jr.
Don Schweitzer, Jr., CCUFC, is the Business Development Officer for Day Air Credit Union. He is a financial educator with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. The mission at Day Air Credit Union is to improve its member's financial condition. Don specializes in living the mission. Don serves on the board of the West Carrollton Education Recognition Association, West Carrollton Education Foundation, Holiday at Home Committee as Parade Chair, and is a past president of the Moraine Rotary. He is actively involved with various Chambers of Commerce.

Theobald, John
John Theobald has served Day Air Credit Union members as Mortgage Lending Manager since October, 2007. Prior to joining Day Air Credit Union, John served Wright-Patt Credit Union from 2002-2007. He began originating Home Loans in 2005. In the last seven years, the mortgage industry has seen many changes and experienced many challenges. Johnís role as Mortgage Lending Manager is to ensure that Credit Union staff is aware and educated of such changes, and that each staff person has the necessary tools and resources to work through any challenges. Serving Credit Union members and making the American Dream a reality is Johnís number one priority as Mortgage Lending Manager at Day Air Credit Union.
