An experienced Librarian and eBay Veteran takes you through the entire process — setting up an account, researching prices, placing bids, and completing the sale. (For Adults)
eBay Basics: Selling (Full-day and 2-day courses available)
Once you know the basics of buying on eBay, learn all about selling in this workshop. Learn the procedure for listing items for sale and get practical tips on getting the greatest profit from your listings from an Education Specialist trained by eBay.

Start communicating electronically with friends and relatives! Learn the basics of e-mailing, set up a Gmail account, and send and receive your first e-mail messages. Basic computer/Internet skills required. (For Adults)
Genealogy Workshop (2-day course)
Begin to search the Ancestry Library Edition database! On Day 1, you will learn techniques, tips and tricks, and find helpful documents in your genealogical search. Then, on Day 2, use your new knowledge to find your ancestors and practice new techniques hands-on. Get all the information Ancestry has to offer!
Genealogy Interest Group
Meet informally to discuss genealogy, use the library’s genealogy databases (Ancestry and Heritage Quest), and learn from each other. Reference librarians will be available to answer questions.
Google Basics (Demonstration only)
Explore Google and learn search strategies, tips and tricks. This demo will send you away with the knowledge to reduce your search time! (For Adults)
Internet for Beginners (2-day course)
Get started on the Internet as experienced librarians lead you on a tour of the World Wide Web. Students are taught the Internet basics in a hands-on learning environment. Topics include Internet vocabulary, browser navigation, and basic searching. (For Adults)
Microsoft Office Basics 2003
Learn some basic skills to use with all Microsoft Office products including how to open, save, and print a document. Also provided will be other tools and Web sites to enhance your use of Microsoft Office.
Microsoft Word 2003
Learn some advanced skills for Microsoft Word 2003. Also provided will be other tools and Web sites to continue your use of Word.
