| Overcoming Difficulties I thought all my life that I was an average person who is like everyone else, though that line perspective is completely false when two years ago I was diagnosed with a form of autism called Aspberger’s Syndrome. That is why my goal is to overcome all difficulties of my disability, and to have a successful teenage life. In order to achieve my goal I need to be able to control my disability, and not let it get ahead of me. Aspberger’s Syndrome, being the rare form of autism it is, affects my social life drastically, and it is very hard to make friends. Along with the autism, I was also diagnosed with ADHD, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, which makes it very hard for me to focus, and I am cursed with a short attention span the size of a cocker spaniel. I really wish I was never afflicted with these disabilities because they have done nothing good for me. Also in order to achieve my goal to have a successful teenage life, I need to well in school. In order for that to happen two required things have to be done; the first thing is that I have to get very good grades, and I need to respect everything and everyone around me. If I do both of those things I could get a lot of privileges, I could get on the Honor Roll, and I am one step closer to getting into college. In addition, to achieve my goal I would have to have talents and interests, which is a key thing to have a good teenage life. My talents and interests are in Track& Field. My interest in this “sport” all started a while back with my dad who is track coach at my school. Watching him coach and watching some of the high school sprinters inspired me to run track, and today my talent is running Track for xx xx because its something that I excel in dramatically, and I am one of the fastest sprinters on my team, which my goal presently for track is to run at the South Western Buckeye League. In high school my goal is to be able to run at the Ohio State track meet, and after high school my ultimate dream is to go to college, and get scholarship in track. Even after that I want to be able and fast enough to run in the Olympics. This huge dream of mine maybe a very hard thing to accomplish, but I will try my hardest to get to that level. In conclusion, to achieve my current goal I need to step up my game and overcome my autism, I need to do better in school, and I need to be fast enough to achieve my big track dreams. Plus, I need to follow the rule given by Dottie Yeck. Being Good+ Doing Good= Having Fun+Being Happy. |
