Consider a memorial donation in honor of a loved one. The Library will provide donation envelopes for funeral services upon request. Checks should be made payable to Washington-Centerville Public Library Foundation Fund and sent to Washington-Centerville Public Library, Bookkeeping, 111 West Spring Valley Pike, Centerville, OH 45458. If total memorial donations received total more than $250, the honoree may be recognized, if the family so wishes, on the Library’s donor plaque located in the front hallway at Centerville Library.
Donors may also choose to develop an unrestricted endowment which generates annual interest income and allows the Library the flexibility to use the proceeds as it best serves the Library's immediate needs.
A restricted endowment is for a donor who would like to ensure the future of a favorite Library program; preserve their values beyond their lifetime; attach their name(s) to a meaningful charitable outreach; or memorialize a loved one. Please take a few minutes to meet the generous donors of our current restricted endowments and see the wonderful programs that their donations provide:
Provide a future gift to the Library by including a bequest provision in your will or trust. Your gift will leave a lasting imprint on the community. When including a bequest provision in your will or trust, always use the the Library's full fund name: Washington-Centerville Public Library Foundation Fund.
Consider a gift of corporate stock, mutual funds, bonds, and stock options. A gift of appreciated securities may provide significant tax benefits to you as a contributor. Gifts of securities may be arranged through The Dayton Foundation.
